Maintenance on-calls



  1. All on-calls are voluntary and should be canvassed by seniority
  2. Anyone on vacation, sick, light duty, or unavailable cannot accept an on-call.
  3. The person on-call will respond on the first call.
  4. The on-call person is on-call for their area only.
  5. On-calls are not added to the overtime balance.
  6. When on-call and after working 16 hrs all other available workers will be canvassed to work before the on-call person can be forced in to work off of rest.
  7. If an on-call is vacant the Area Leader will canvass to fill it, if no one is found it will remain vacant.
  8. If the on-call person cannot be reached by phone he will be paged to respond.
